Salman
I just cleaned out my office and found some cool old shit.
I used to have a stack of old RAD magazines that regretably one year I decided to throw away, here is an old Real Ad that I had pulled out and stuck on my wall. If you were skating around this era you will remember the significance of this ad. I clearly remember seeing this in the mag and just being blown away by the tricks Salman was doing in the sequetnials. To many kids out there this will look like a bunch of nollie tricks on a curb, but to those who remember it changed everything.

London S.K.A.T.E.
Slam City Skates is London's oldest remaining skate shop and a staple of the UK skate scene. The alleyway that leads up to the shop is a proper lurk zone and countless hours have been wasted away there talking shit and drinking street beers. The alley has been named in the blog word as Jake's Alley, Jake being a long term Slam employee. The dudes at Slam decided it would be a good idea to pool all the shop locs for an ongoing game of skate in the aforementioned 6ft10" wide alley. hosted by Lev AKA "The Mayor of Southbank", the game of S.K.A.T.E. never looked this good, round 1. No roshambo here, brits get it started with a good old long jump, round 2.
Vangs Mendota
Back in 2008, when it was above freezing, Johny Vang tied the knot. To celebrate the event we had a day of amazingness, consisting of a session at the Mendota park, then a BBQ and car demos at Chips' followed by Party Bus to various establishments of adult entertainment. Here are a few clips from the skate part of the day, someone out there has the photos of the non-PG activities...

Airport Ramp
Here are a couple of Polariods from when we tore down the airport ramp. The dudes who rented the house were moving and the ramp had to go. Those dudes didnt even skate but they were down if you bought over some beer to shred. The piece of wood was from the Underply and it reads "Custom Kid, J Holtan 12/03/03" Wizard design and built the ramp originally and now it resides at the HJ HQ.
