More Munz, from years gone by

Just scanned this in today for a little project I am helping Zed pull together. I noticed cha-boy Munzenrider is up in there, so continuing on with the Munz coverage theme, here is a proper Back Smith at a long defunct Spot. Man I miss that ramp...

Booty Alert!

In my opinion it doesn't get much better than Sanford and Son, well apart from Steptoe and Son (see below). Combine one killer TV show with one beast of a skate company and you get the Booty Alert, looks like Todd drew these graphics but I cannot be sure.

Steptoe and Son, take a look at the youtube and note the similarities between this English show and the American version.

GF does it again.

Dan Jacksons Glue Factory has a new run of boards out, so go get yours.

The second round of Handjob boards is due in early 2012, and new t-shirts the following year.

Evilest of Pats

This Saturday night.

Summer of Front Rocks

When I saw Munzy's post over at The Plat displaying his Front Rock cover of a Stuck magazine from a few years back, it jogged my memory of a flick I had published in the aforementioned magazine. So I made my way down to the basement and found the relevant issue.

While looking over the spread (shot during the final months of filming/editing for Weekend Warriors) I noticed Meyer is editing the clip of Munzy doing the front rock at the sketchy Theater bank to wall. Also of note is the placed pack of rolling tobacco on Meyers desk - because Meyer was always bumming my smokes, The contemplative finger to mouth pause that decides if your trick makes the cut or not, and my 5 chins Front Rock at Zeds Tranny.

3 front rocks, 1 summer, good memories.

Plywood Bender

After working with Jay and Wiz for a while, you start looking at things a little differently. Amazing idea, amazing execution.

Rocking Horse?

I imagine Wizard had one of these before he pulled walking out of his sleeve, only in a bit more authentic and unpainted.

Frank Gehry designed ramp

“I was so sick of all that Disney shit- I just wanted to rip shit up!”
Not a huge fan of reinterpreting the skateboard in new materials ala Aircraft aluminum skateboards, but some of this shit is pretty funny.
